Abstract
|
|
|
Authors experienced a case of congenital multiple malformation, characterized by hydrocephalus, spina bifida, clubfoot, agenesis of rib cage, and meningomyeloceles.
The female newborn -had delivered abdominally by cesarian section on 12 days after term.
At birth, the body weight was 5, 900gm, height 57cm, head circumference 62cm and chest circum￢
ference 33cm respectively. Body temperature at birth was 35°C and apgar score at 1 min. after birth was 2.
She had lived for. 92 days in the nursery -room and expired with interstitial pneumonia. The autopsy -findings also presented with brief review of literature.
